Below you will find an attachment that you may find helpful for tips on your upcoming insurance exam.
Making sure you drink plenty of water before your appointment on the day before, and day of will be the most helpful thing you can do. Most times you will need to provide a blood sample for testing. If you drink water as instructed then it will hydrate your veins, increasing the volume of your blood inside your veins, making it easier to collect a blood sample.
Making sure you drink plenty of water, will also help when needing to submit a urine sample. Most life insurance applicants will need to submit a urine sample, as well as a blood sample.
As an applicant, if you have any concerns regarding your insurance exam procedures please let us or your examiner know as soon as possible.
Ex. If you know you are woozy with blood draws on yourself.
When scheduling your exam via phone, you can let us know of any questions or concerns you have, and we will input your notes to your case.
Applicants taking medications:
We recommend the following if you are taking medicine that is not within your normal routine:
1. Have stopped taking cold medicine at least 3 days before appointment.
2. Have stopped taking oral steroids for any reason for 3-5 days before appointment.
